Avantage is the consortium chosen by Cheshire County Council to design, build and operate five Extra Care Housing developments across the county. It is made up of Harvest Housing Group, MJ Gleeson Group and Nationwide Building Society.
Avantage will provide homes for over-60s in Handforth, Ellesmere Port, Middlewich, Winsford and Crewe. We completely understand the needs of our community, and design our developments around the residents. We provide the choice and independence for a new way of apartment living with a fantastic range of facilities and services tailored to meet the needs of individual residents. Each development includes self-contained apartments, 24-hour on-call staff, a hair salon, library, I.T. suite, restaurant and village hall plus other innovative facilities for both residents and the wider community.
Our vision is to provide stylish, quality homes for people over 60 which offer flexibility and choice. Each Avantage development has unique characteristics, but all with the same commitment of freedom to live independently yet securely.
